Credit Guide
This Credit Guide sets out important information to help you decide whether to accept our assistance in obtaining a credit contract or consumer lease — who we are, how we're licensed, how we're paid, and what to do if you have a complaint.
Who we are
Luca Vincent Antico, trading as Vinmont Finance, is a Credit Representative (Credit Representative Number: 580782) of the Australian Credit Licensee below. Vinmont Finance is not itself the holder of an Australian Credit Licence.

What is “credit assistance”?
We provide credit assistance when we:
- suggest or assist you to apply for a particular credit contract with a particular credit provider; or
- suggest or assist you to apply for an increase to the credit limit of a particular credit contract with a particular credit provider; or
- suggest you remain in a particular credit contract with a particular credit provider.
Engagement and conditions
You (the customer) engage us (the broker) to arrange finance on your behalf. We act as an independent contractor to assist you to obtain and negotiate finance — we are not the lender, and final approval and terms are determined by the relevant credit provider.
Fees payable by you
We sometimes charge a fee for our services. Any fee payable will be detailed in a Credit Quote we give you before your finance application is lodged. Per the current Credit Quote terms, if we successfully arrange finance that proceeds to settlement, you may be charged a one-off Origination Fee ranging from $0 up to a maximum of $2,500. Payable only if finance is approved and proceeds to settlement — not payable if it doesn't. The exact fee (if any) for your enquiry is disclosed in your personal Credit Quote before any application is lodged. No other fees or charges are payable by you to us for providing credit assistance.
How we're paid
No commission is payable by you to us — commissions are paid by the credit provider. We only receive a commission if your loan settles. Commission (brokerage) typically ranges from 0% to 4%, based on the net amount financed plus GST. Talk To A Broker Holdings Pty Ltd has volume bonus arrangements in place with the majority of its credit providers and lessors, which may result in additional indirect remuneration based on the total volume of business placed with them. If you would like a detailed estimate of the commission payable by a particular credit provider on your transaction, we'll provide this to you on request.
Referrers and referral fees
In some cases, your enquiry may have been referred to us by a non-regulated third party (such as an accountant, financial planner or motor dealer). Where a referral fee is paid, the referrer should already have told you about this, and we'll disclose the fee (or a reasonable estimate) in your Credit Proposal Disclosure Document. You can also ask us directly how much was paid and how it was calculated.
Preliminary assessment & responsible lending
Before recommending a credit product, we're required to complete a Preliminary Assessment to determine that it's not unsuitable for you. This involves assessing your requirements and objectives, your financial and personal situation, and your ability to repay — and taking reasonable steps to verify the information you provide (which may include requesting supporting documents or contacting third parties). There's no charge for this assessment, and you can request a copy of it at any time (within 7 business days if requested within 2 years of it being conducted, or within 21 business days if requested between 2 and 7 years afterwards).
Our consumer credit providers
Talk To A Broker Holdings Pty Ltd sources credit products from a range of banks, lenders and other credit providers. At present, it writes a greater percentage of consumer loans with:
- Macquarie Leasing Pty Ltd
- Pepper Asset Finance Pty Ltd
- ANZ Bank
- Liberty Financial Pty Ltd
- Capital Finance / Westpac Bank
- Firstmac Asset Funding Pty Ltd
These lenders do not necessarily represent all the lenders who offer credit of the nature you seek.
